New Zealand vs. Afghanistan (world cup 2019)

In the second match of the World Cup 2019, New Zealand defeated Afghanistan by 7 wickets and in the World Cup, New Zealand reached the top of the points table with 6 points. In the World Cup so far, New Zealand played a spectacular game without losing a match, the whole spirit is moving forward with faith, on the other hand, Afghanistan is at the bottom in this World Cup, but undoubtedly Afghanistan got to learn many things in this World Cup.

Man of the match, James Neesham bowled the best of his career, took 5 wickets giving only 31 runs in 10 over and broke the back of the whole Afghan team.

By winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bowl first, which proved to be true and Kiwi bowlers kept their hold on Afghan batsmen throughout the match. None of the Afghani batsmen survived the Kiwi attack except for Zazai (34 runs in 28 balls), Jadran (31 runs in 38 balls) and Shahidi (59 runs in 99 balls). Rahmat Shah and Rasheed returned to the pavilion without opening their account, then Aftab Alam, the tail-ender, made 3 fours and scored 14 runs in 10 balls.

In reply to the short score, the New Zealand team was shocked when Martin Guptill got bowled on the first ball. At one time when the wicket fell on the first ball, it seemed like batting would probably not be easy. But this confusion was broken by captain Kane Williamson after being unbeaten (79 runs in 99 balls). Ross Taylor also scored 48 runs.
The victorious chariot of New Zealand is progressing day by day and as I wrote in my previous article that New Zealand has the ability to choke everyone in this World Cup.

Now the real test of New Zealand is with India on June 13, same Afghanistan will play their next match against South Africa on June 15.
