Sitasipass said at the age of 13 - Federer was my ideal, one day I will go to the top

Greece's Stefanos Sitasipass defeated Roger Federer of Switzerland in the pre-quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Federer has been a champion here six times. At the same time, Stefanos has reached the quarterfinals for the first time. 20-year-old Stefanos stopped 20 Grand Slam winners from winning the seventh title here. The Australian Open shared a video on its official Twitter account, in which during the interview, Sitasipass calls Federer his ideal. During this interview, Sitasipas were only 13 years old.

Sitasipass had said, "I defeated my ideals. My ideal today became a rival for me, this is the moment that I can never forget, never." Sitasipas will be competing against Roberto Aguetta of Spain in the quarter-finals.Sitasipass had said about Federer, "He is a great player, he is a magician of the game, he has played the best tennis for the last several years, I have been watching him for six years, he had a dream to play against him. I even beat them, this is amazing. "
 Sitasipas said, "Roger is the legend of our game. I respect them very much. This dream is like coming true.

Fourteenth seeded Sitasipas have also become the first Greek players to reach the quarter-finals of any Grand Slam tournament. He will face 14th seed Roberto Batista Agut in the last eight, who beat sixth seed Marin Silic in the match lasting four hours, 6-7 (6/8), 6-3, 6-2, 4-6, 6- 4 was defeated.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is  Greek professional tennis player. He is the youngest player ranked in the top 20 by the Associations of Professionals(ATP) and has a career high ranking of No. 15 in the world. He was the first Greek player to win an ATP title at the Stockholm open towards the end of 2018, before winning the Next Gen Finals a few weeks later.
Stefanoos Sitasipass was born in a tennis family where his mother was a professional on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour and her father was trained as a tennis coach.
